By participating in the PayPal India Merchant Promotion (the “Offer”), you agree to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”).
Offer: A reimbursement of 2.5% on our standard 4.4% transaction fee rate for qualifying transactions received using: (i) PayPal Branded Checkout; (ii) PayPal Payment Links and Buttons; (iii) PayPal Invoicing; or (iv) Receive Money for Goods & Services. The reimbursement is capped at a maximum of $2,500 USD per Eligible Participant (defined below) and is available for the Reimbursement Period (defined below), provided all Eligibility Criteria (defined below) are met. The Offer only applies to Eligible Transactions (defined below) during the Offer Period (defined below) and Reimbursement Period (defined below) and does not apply to any other PayPal products or services. For the purposes of these Terms, any references to “cash back” in connection with this Offer (including in related marketing materials) mean a reimbursement credited to the Eligible Participant’s PayPal account.
“Eligible Participant”: To be eligible, a participant must be: (1) a resident in India; and (2) eighteen (18) years of age or older.
“Eligibility Criteria”: To qualify for the Offer, Eligible Participants must: (1) sign up for an Indian PayPal Business account ("Valid Account") through the PayPal India website/app or through a participating PayPal partner during the Offer Period; (2) not currently benefit from other reduced, discounted or negotiated PayPal transaction fees; and (3) ensure their Valid Account remains in good standing. For the purposes of this paragraph, “good standing” shall mean that the Eligible Participant is not in breach of these Terms and the User Agreement, and will continue to comply with these terms and the User Agreement for the duration of the Offer Period and the Reimbursement Period.
“Eligible Transaction”: A receive transaction must be completed using (i) PayPal Branded Checkout; (ii) PayPal Payment Links and Buttons; (iii) PayPal Invoicing; or (iv) Receive Money for Goods & Services in order to qualify for the Offer. The discount will only apply to the standard commercial transaction fees during the Reimbursement Period and exclude any other applicable fees, including but not limited to currency conversion fees. If an Eligible Transaction is not completed or is not recorded by PayPal's system within the Reimbursement Period for any reason, that transaction will not qualify towards this Offer. Transactions that have been refunded, reversed, or charged back will not be eligible for the Offer.
Offer Period: Starts at 12:00:01 a.m. on 01st February 2026 India Standard Time (“IST”) and ends at 11:59:00 p.m. on 31st July 2026 India Standard Time (“IST”) “Offer Period”).
Reimbursement Period: Starts on the date when the Eligible Participant signs up to open a PayPal Business Account (“Date of Signup”), and ends the earlier of: (1) 180 days after the Date of Signup, (2) when the total individual Eligible Participant reimbursement reaches $2,500 USD (two thousand five hundred dollars) (“Maximum Fee Reimbursement”), OR (3) when a total of $500,000.00 USD (“Offer Cap”) has been reimbursed to all Eligible Participants in accordance with these Terms.
PayPal shall reimburse the Eligible Participants for Eligible Transactions, up to the Maximum Fee Reimbursement during the Reimbursement Period. Reimbursements will not be awarded on transactions made and/or settled after: (i) the Eligible Participant reaches the Maximum Fee Reimbursement, or the Offer reaches the Offer Cap; or (ii) the Reimbursement Period ends. Eligible Participants will receive the reimbursement deposited into their Valid Account by the 15th of each month for the previous months’ Eligible Transactions during the Reimbursement Period. PayPal reserves the right to review any account or transaction related to this Offer, in its sole discretion, without notice, and delay completion of the Offer. Offer is void where prohibited, if Eligible Participant’s account or transaction(s) are fraudulent, abusive, or if Eligible Transactions are not completed through legitimate channels, or irregular in any way. PayPal reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the Offer at any time as it may determine in its sole discretion.
Taxes: Any and all applicable taxes or other charges are the sole responsibility of the Eligible Participant.
Miscellaneous: This Offer is final, will not be returned, and is subject to review and verification. PayPal may provide an alternate offer of equal value if it cannot fulfill the Offer. PayPal reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify this Offer in part or its entirety at any time without notice, for any reason in its sole discretion. Similar offers may run simultaneously; qualification for this Offer does not constitute qualification for any other offer. PayPal is not responsible and liable for any lost, stolen, late, incomplete, illegible, interrupted, delayed, or misdirected email, discount, or Offer-related materials or correspondence or if any Eligible Participant's email address, Valid Account, or other contact information does not work, is deleted, or is changed without such participant giving prior written notice to PayPal. This Offer will be void if any Offer-related materials/ transactions brought by an Eligible Participant to evidence the eligibility are counterfeit, altered, defective, tampered with, or irregular in any way. Certain offers may not be transferable. Any questions relating to the Offer will be resolved at PayPal's sole discretion, and its decisions related to the Offer will be final and binding and subject to PayPal's internal policies and User Agreement.
Governing law and jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the courts of India. By participating in the Offer, Eligible Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and the User Agreement. The courts of Mumbai shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms. This does not limit your rights under mandatory statutory consumer protection regulations and for you to bring proceedings before the courts of the place where you are domiciled.
