What is PYUSD?

You can set your preferred frequency and amount. You can update your percentage, change your schedule, or turn off PYUSD Settlement at any time. Your PYUSD balance earns 4% rewards.¹ Meanwhile, there is no impact on how your customers pay. Checkout remains the same, with no disruption to your business.

How to enable PYUSD Settlement

To get started, you must go through crypto provisioning to become eligible. That means holding a verified U.S. business account and living in a supported area. Once you pass the Customer Identification Program (CIP) checks, you’ll receive approval to use PYUSD.

1. Log in to your PayPal business account
2. Head to “Finance” and then click “Money”
3. Under PYUSD, click on “Opt In”
4. PYUSD Settlement is set up via the auto-transfer flow
5. Go through crypto provisioning if you haven’t already
6. Choose your preferred percentage and timing, whether it's daily, twice a week, weekly, twice a month, or monthly
7. Click “Turn on automatic transfer”

If you ever want to disable PYUSD Settlement, simply head back to your PayPal business account settings. Update the settlement percentage or frequency, or disable automatic conversion entirely, at any time. You’re in control.
